IT Department Head / IT Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Department Head / IT Manager with strong communication skills, technical expertise, and leadership capabilities to manage our IT operations and directly interact with USA-based clients.
The ideal candidate will oversee the organization’s IT infrastructure, ensure system security and efficiency, maintain compliance with global standards, and drive cloud-first strategies. This role requires strong hands-on experience in AWS, Azure Cloud, server management, cybersecurity, managed IT services, and enterprise IT operations, along with strategic problem-solving abilities.
Key Responsibilities
The Information Technology Manager will act as a proactive and hands-on leader responsible for managing and evolving the company’s complete technology infrastructure.
- IT Strategy & Leadership: Develop and execute scalable IT strategies aligned with business objectives, ensuring performance, reliability, and security.
- Infrastructure Management: Oversee maintenance and optimization of Azure Cloud, AWS Cloud environments, and Cisco Meraki networking systems.
- Cloud Management: Design, implement, and manage cloud-based infrastructure solutions (AWS & Azure), ensuring high availability, scalability, and cost optimization.
- Software & Systems Administration: Manage Microsoft 365 administration and enterprise applications.
- Cybersecurity: Strengthen security posture using tools such as SentinelOne, Sophos Firewall, and other advanced security solutions.
- Project Management: Lead IT initiatives including system upgrades, cloud migrations, infrastructure enhancements, ensuring timely delivery within budget.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and manage a small IT team, promoting continuous improvement and technical excellence.
- Vendor Management: Coordinate with external vendors and service providers to ensure service quality and cost efficiency.
- Technical Support: Provide high-level troubleshooting and technical support across the organization and USA-based clients.
- IT Audit & Compliance: Conduct audits to ensure compliance with security standards such as GDPR, SOC 2, ISO 27001, and industry best practices.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of systems, policies, and procedures for operational clarity and audit readiness.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Key Skills & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Experience: 7–15 years of progressive IT experience, including minimum 4 years in a leadership role.
- Strong expertise in Cloud Infrastructure (AWS & Azure), Networking, Firewalls, and IT Security.
- Experience managing Managed IT Services and enterprise environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- ITIL or PMP certification
- Experience with SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR compliance
- Advanced firewall configuration and network architecture expertise
